Mark Harris' in Manila

We watched Mark Harris' concert last Sunday after our Sunday service.
It was such a great experience, the moment was very overwhelming . Been blessed to be one of those people to feel what i felt , it was indescribable.

My tears were keep falling down my cheeks that I had to hide my face. :)

It was such a blessed moment and I was so lucky to be part of it and i can say .. it made our Father's Day Celebration complete!

" life is short... live life to the fullest "

I couldn't believe what I saw on the news. A one-year old child, hit by a stray bullet while sleeping in the middle of the night.
Di pinansin ng mag-asawa , kala nila wala lang , then the mother saw a hole sa ceiling nila and the father saw his one-year old son, na naliligo sa sarili nyang dugo.
It was a shocking news. I know , this is not the first time, na nangyari ito, pero sa isang taong gulang na natutulog lang... I cant put into words kung ano ang naramdaman ko. As a mother, I know how painful it is to be in the mother's situation.
This made me realize how short life is here on earth. I know its passe to say " life is short, live life to the fullest ".
But do we really know how short our lives are ? How fast the clock is tickling? Are we really living our lives to the fullest? How can we say we are?

No one can really answer the last two questions except ourselves, coz we have different definitions on " living life to the fullest " .

Thank you Lord for the world so sweet
Thank you Lord for the bird that sings
Thank you Lord for the food we eat
Thank you Lord for everything. Amen .

Nung first time kong marinig to , parang wala lang, was just a common "baby prayer" .  Pero lately , " narinig " ko na sya. The very essence of the prayer. BE GRATEFUL coz we are still here on earth...moving, feeling, sensing, laughing , living and blessed .
And yes..... " life is short... live life to the fullest "

Happy Father's day!!! Need I say more?

Happy Father's day!!!

Ayon sa wikipedia.com , Father's Day is a celebration honoring fathers and celebrating fatherhood, paternal bonds, and the influence of fathers in society. It is celebrated on the third Sunday of June in many countries and on other days elsewhere. It complements Mother's Day, the celebration honoring mothers.

So , i guess, malinaw ang mensahe ng Father's Day . It's about life and the celebration of life.

I've lost my father when he was 44, it was a sudden death, so unexpected.
Loosing a father is " pain " .

Happy Father's Day!!! Need I say more?

Praise God everywhere in the Philippines

I have come across an article sa CNN.com titled My Faith: How saying a blessing changed my secular family's meals  , its about , saying grace before meal.Yung writer ay nagkwento tungkol sa kanyang  3-year old daughter who taught her the idea of saying the blessing bago sila kumain. Wow! seriousy ? May , mga tao pala talagang ganito ang way of thinking. I was so SHOCKED . Shocked na totoo palang may mga taong hindi naniniwala sa Diyos or yung mga atheists , mga taong naniniwalang walang Diyos or yung mga agnostics , mga taong hindi naniniwala sa relihiyon or may ibang paniniwala.
I remember, there was even  a comment na , pang-momolestya daw when you ask a student to pray in a public school, and sa US daw accordnig connectgroup lider namen, you cant worship in a public place or else , madedemanda ka, now i can say it's true pala talaga.
David Sumrall, na we are so lucky to be living in this country, where we can praise and worship God anywhere. The first time i heard him saying that, napaisip ako na , pwede naman talagang iworship si God anywhere, but now i realize i was wrong nang mabasa ko ang mga comments sa article na to.
Now, what i'm trying to say is , Pastor Sumrall is right. I should be thankful living in a third-world-country whose God is first class. Na may Diyos na , pwede mong sambahin at purihin , kahit san , kahit kailan.

ACV

At dahil nga sakitin ako, im starting to get conscious ... or should i say ...health-conscious ...really?
I've tried so may different herbal supplements, gadgets etc. Well, siguro at some point, nakatulong sila, kaya lang problema saken, madali akong mainip, at walang akong consistency. Papalit-palit. Pero infairness, nag-improve naman talaga ang immune system ko from taking those supplements.
Pero recently, my husband introduced to me another " alternative medecine/supplement " , ang Apple Cider Vinegar or ACV.

Pero hindi rin naman ako naniwala agad , although , matagal ko nang naririnig na ang ACV ay magandang alternative med , lalo na sa acid reflux , which I incidentally have. So , i contacted my bestfriend google and we did my research. Then I have discovered the wonders of ACV :) . I've checked several websites , like about.com, at lahat ng sites na nagpublish ng article about ACV , ay may common denominator. ITS GOOD FOR THE HEALTH.
in a 2007 study published inDiabetes Care, researchers found that type 2 diabetes patients who consumed two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar at bedtime showed favorable changes in blood sugar levels the following morning
  • Sa cholesterol naman - again i qoute "
Published in the British Journal of Nutrition, a 2006 study found that rats fed acetic acid for 19 days had a significant reduction in total cholesterol and triglyceride levels"
There is limited scientific support for the claim that apple cider vinegar can promote weight loss. However, one small study (published in Bioscience, Biotechnology, and Biochemistry in 2009) found that obese people who consumed acetic acid daily for 12 weeks experienced significant decreases in body weight, abdominal fat, waist circumference, and triglycerides. In tests on mice, another 2009 study (published in the Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry) found that acetic acid may help prevent the buildup of body fat and certain liver fats.
Di nga lang kagandahan ang lasa, but WHO CARES! Tingnan mo na lang ang mga benefits, and never mind the taste.
